Speech Therapy for Women with ADHD
Ladies (with ADHD) Who Lunch Group
Professional Women with ADHD tell me…
“I have no work-life balance because I have to work 60 hours a week just to get everything done.”
”I have difficulty staying on-topic in conversation.”
“I get stuck on less important tasks.”
“I was just diagnosed and I’m kinda mad. I’m happy to know what the issue is but I’m frustrated no one helped me earlier.“
“I space out in work and professional conversations and can’t seem to focus.”
“I have trouble planning ahead for big projects.“
”I can’t seem to finish things all the way.”
”I get feedback that my emails and presentations are too long and seem scattered.”
”I’m overwhelmed and I’m so close to burnout.”
Sound familiar?
When they first come in, the women with ADHD who I work with don’t have time to do what they want. They don’t have time to relax or spend time with their loved ones.
And they also don’t have the time to do the things that would help them, like planning ahead, meditating, and recharging.
They feel like everyone else got the rulebook on how to plan and prioritize, except for them. They often work very long hours and feel overwhelmed by the amount of work they have to do.
They may have gotten a diagnosis of ADHD or suspect that they have similar tendencies but don’t know what to do next.
Their difficulty being efficient at work gets in the way of the life that they want.
They aren’t the kind of employee, coworker, or boss that they want to be. They feel like they are failing and their confidence in their professionalism is tanking.
And because they are always catching up with work, they can’t be the partner, mother, or friend that they want to be.
Before working together, they worried that they were just too lazy or not smart/motivated/fill-in-the-blank enough to be successful in their career. They were pretty certain they would always be behind and stress felt mantatory.
Like my clients, you deserve to be organized enough with your time that you can take a breath, plan ahead, and *shocker* even eat your lunch.
Ladies (with ADHD) Who Lunch
Do you have ADHD and want to join a group of other women to learn to thrive with ADHD?
I’ve found that many of the professional women with ADHD that I work with can’t find the time to give themselves the most basic form of sustenance: food.
This is why I started a group for professional women with ADHD called, “Ladies (with ADHD) Who Lunch.”
In this group, we focus on what YOU want to focus on. We work on things like prioritizing, giving presentations, writing emails, work-life balance, goal setting, reading, accountability, mindfulness, and self-awareness.
